IMPORTANT NOTICE TO SUPPLIERS RE. BID SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

1. The Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (MAE) at the Royal Military College of Canada (RMC) has a requirement for updating its vertical CNC (Computer Numerical Control) milling machine. The objective is to procure one 3-Axis CNC Vertical Milling Machine, with 4th and 5th-axis rotary table. This will allow shop to have a 3-axis machine as well as having the ability for 5-axis machining.


2. Delivery Date: The equipment must be delivered before March 31, 2022.

3. It is intended to issue one (1) Contract.

4. The proposed period of the Contract will be from Date of Contract Award to March 31, 2023.

5. The Bidder must provide in their offer the necessary documentation to support and demonstrate compliance with each mandatory technical criteria. Offers which fail to meet each of the mandatory technical criteria will be declared non-responsive and will receive no further evaluation. 

6. A bid must comply with the requirements of the Request for Proposal and meet all mandatory technical evaluation criteria to be declared responsive. The responsive bid with the lowest evaluated price will be recommended for contract award. 

7. The Offeror must submit pricing in accordance with Annex B - Basis of Payment, in Canadian Funds.
