    Pesticides/Insecticides Support
    
    The Department of National Defence, Canadian Forces Base (CFB)
    Borden, Borden, Ontario has a requirement for the supply of 1
    helicopter with pilot including all labour, materials and tools,
    equipment and transportation required for aerial application by
    helicopter of mosquito larvicide, in accordance with the
    Specification # L-B147-SC-168/13 dated 13-01-03 and drawing #
    L-BI47-9101/12-101 dated 2012-01-15. 
    	
    There is a firm requirement for one application for granular
    Bti, 1238 hectares for Spring Aedes Mosquito Control in spring
    each year.  There are options for additional mosquito control
    applications as well as helicopter aerial surveys for
    assessments of CFB Borden Property in accordance with the
    Statement of Work at Annex A of the Request for Proposal (RFP)
    document, for the period from date of contract award to 31 March
    2018.  
    
    Bidders must refer to the RFP document for complete details
    regarding this requirement including the mandatory requirements,
    evaluation criteria and basis of selection.
    
    Optional Site Visit
    It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the
    Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for a
    tour of the work site. The site visit will be held on 01 May 
    2013, at 10:00 am, Contracts Conference Room, Room 234, 16
    Ramillies Road (P-154), CFB Borden, Borden, Ontario). 
    
    Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting
    Authority Marian Shaw, by telephone at 905-615-2065 or by e-mail
    at marian.shaw@pwgsc-tpsgc.gc.ca, one (1) day(s) before the
    scheduled visit to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of
    the person(s) who will attend. Bidders who do not attend or send
    a representative will not be given an alternative appointment
    but they will not be precluded from submitting a bid.
