    Diesel Engine Trainers
    
    
    Background
    The Department of National Defence, Canadian Forces School of
    Electrical and Mechanical Engineering (CFSEME), presently
    utilizes various diesel engine trainers to deliver engine and
    powertrain management training for Vehicle Technicians. These
    simulators are used by instructional staff to demonstrate
    maintenance procedures and to instruct the construction and
    operation of diesel engines and its components.
    
    Students use the diesel engine trainers to perform maintenance
    tasks including testing, diagnosing and troubleshooting of its
    mechanical, electrical and fuel systems.
    
    Requirement
    The Department of National Defence (DND), Royal Canadian
    Electrical and Mechanical Engineering School at Canadian Forces
    Base (CFB) Borden, Borden, Ontario, has a requirement for the
    supply and delivery of quantity twelve (12) Diesel Engine
    Trainers in accordance with the specifications detailed at Annex
    A of the Request for Proposal (RFP) document.  
    
    Delivery must be completed by 29 August 2014.
    
    Bidders must refer to the RFP document for complete details
    regarding this requirement.
    
    Due to the nature of the bid solicitation, bids transmitted by
    facsimile to PWGSC will not be accepted.

    The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
    procurement.
