Title:  Indirect Batch Dryer

National Research Council, Concord, ON has a requirement for the
supply, delivery and installation of quantity 1 , Indirect Batch
Dryer, including a control panel.  Testing and training will
also be required for the system.

The indirectly heated batch drying system is required to reduce
the moisture content of loose natural fibres such as flax, hemp,
jute, wood pulp and  wood flour from a typical 8-10% value to
below 0.5%. The drying process must guarantee minimum risk of
ignition of the natural fibres by using a closed steam circuit
that supplies heat via conduction to a closed stainless steel
vessel. The equipment must have a mechanically agitator to
maximize product contact with the vessel walls. The indirect
dryer also must be able to handle temperature sensitive
materials by implementing vacuum in the vessel.

Delivery is required by 31 March 2013.
