    Environment Canada, located in Burlington, Ontario has a
    requirement for the supply and delivery of oceanographic
    equipment that can be described as "Rosette Water Sampling
    System".  This submersible device utilizes a number of water
    sampling bottles in a carousel arrangement that can be remotely
    triggered from the surface to capture a water sample from the
    depth required.  
    
    The mandatory technical requirement of the system is detailed in
    Annex A, Requirement, of the Request for Proposal. The Mandatory
    Technical Criteria is as follows:
    
    2.0	Mandatory Technical Criteria:
    
    2.1	Multi-bottle sampling array must have the following:
    2.1.1	Chassis for sample bottle array must be in a carousel
    arrangement
    2.1.2	Chassis must include submersible array, hanger mount
    stand, adaptor plates, full protection ring and interconnecting
    cable
    2.1.3	Mount stand and protective ring must be constructed of
    solid aluminium rod
    2.1.4	Top and bottom plates and connecting post must be composed
    of hard-coat anodized aluminium
    2.1.5	Must be capable of accommodating quantity 12, 20 litre
    Niskin type bottles
    2.1.6	Must have depth capacity of 6000 metres or greater
    2.1.7	Must have the ability to use single or multi-conductor
    electro - mechanical cable for surface activation
    2.1.8	Must have a minimum of two Operations Manual included or
    an Electronic version on a Microsoft compatible storage device
    included
    
    2.2	Surface command unit for bottle activation or triggering:
    2.2.1	Must have the ability to trigger randomly and sequentially
    2.2.2	Must have menu selectable command interface software
    2.2.3	Power requirements must be 120/240 VAC
    
    2.3	Warranty:
    2.3.1	The device must include a warranty of at least 1 year
    
    2.4	Compatibility Requirement
    2.4.1	The Rosette cage unit must be physically combined with a
    SeaBird SBE25plus profiler 
    2.4.2	The Rosette cage unit and SeaBird SBE25plus profiler must
    each communicate and work concurrently with each other.

    All the deliverables must be received on or before 29 January
    2016.

    The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
    procurement.
