    The Department of National Defence, Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Borden, Ontario requires a Regional Individual Standing Offer (RISO) for the provision of electrical repair services of all motors and pumps located in b
    
    uildings and life safety maintenance equipment throughout the base premises.
    
    The period of the Standing Offer is One year from Contract award, plus 
    4 additional 1-year optionyears.
    
    To be considered responsive, an offer must meet all mandatory technical 
    
    
    criteria as follows:
    
    1.The bidder must have a minimum of 5 years documented experience in 
    the Repair of Pumps and Motors. To demonstrate this experience, the bidder must provide details related to the history and background of their company with their bid, at the time of bid closing.
    
    The Bidder must demonstrate that they have a minimum of five (5) years’ ex
    
    perience in performing each of the following:
    
    (a)  Rewind and repair of various types of DC electric motors (less 
    than 750VDC and 100HP) of different frame types and starting systems, such as potential relays, split winding and variable speed wound mo
    tors.
    
    (b)  Rewind and repair of various types of AC electric motors (less 
    than 600VAC and 100HP) of different frame types and starting systems, such as potential relays, split winding and variable speed wound mo
    tors.
    
    (c)  Rewind and repair of various types of Sump Pumps at 1-25 HP singleand polyphase less than 600 VAC repairs.
    
    2. The bidder must have a minimum of two technicians that are a 
    licensed Electrician in the Province of Ontario. The bidder must 
    provide a current and valid photo-copy of each proposed technician licence with their bid.
    
    3. The bidder must provide at least two (2) contract examples that they 
    
    
    have worked on that are *similar* in scope and size, related to Pump 
    and Motor Repair with their bid. To demonstrate the bidder must provide 
    
    
    a written description for each of the two contract worked on. The 
    bidder must also provide the name and contact information of the organization stated and a reference/contact person. Canada reserves the ri
    
    ght to contact the reference to verify the information provided. If after 3 attempts the contact cannot be reached, the bid will be deemed non-responsive.
    
    *Similar* - for the purpose of evaluation, is defined as the extent of comparability in terms of scope, magnitude, operating environment and businesssector
    
    Basis of Selection
    
    An offer must comply with the requirements of the Request for Standing Offers and meet all mandatory technical evaluation criteria to be declared responsive. The responsive offer with the lowest evaluated price will be recommended for issuance of a standing offer.
