Environment and Climate Change Canada requires the supply and delivery of one (1) oceanographic equipment that can be describedas a ‘Rosette Water Sampling System’. This submersible device utilizes a number of water sampling bottles in a carousel arrangement that can be remotely triggered from the surface to capture a water sample from the depth required. 

The mandate of theResearch Support (RS) section of Environment and Climate Change Canada, Water Science and Technology (WSC), is to ensure that the necessary equipment, facilities and technical expertise are available to support WSC research studies requiring sampling and measurements in the aquatic environment. As a centralized support organization, staff of RS strive to ensure that the most effective technologies and human resource capabilities are available to support the Institute’s present and future water researchand monitoring studies. In that context, the intended Rosette Water Sampling System is for research and monitoring purposes.

The Rosette Water Sampler must be delivered as soon as possible but no later than March 1, 2017.
 
A bid must comply with the requirements of the bid solicitation and meet all mandatory technical evaluation criteria to be declared responsive.

The responsive bid with the lowest price will be recommended for award of a contract.
