IMPORTANT NOTICE TO SUPPLIERS RE. BID SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Suppliers are required to submit bids electronically using the Canada Post Corporation’s (CPC) Connect service for the subject bid solicitation. This service allows suppliers to submit bids, offers and arrangements electronically to PWGSC Bid Receiving Units. This online service enables the electronic transfer of large files up to Protected B level.

Faxed and hard copy (submitted in person or via mail/courier) bids will not be accepted for the subject bid solicitation.

1. This is a Request for Standing Offer (RFSO) for the provision of 600 full/double and 300 queen bedspreads and a quantity of 332 curtains, sheers and double rods, on an 'as and when’ requested basis’, on behalf of the Department of National Defence, Canadian Forces Base Trenton, Accommodations.

2. It is intended to issue one Regional Individual Standing Offers (RISO). The period of the Standing Offer is from award to July 31, 2023 with options to extend the standing offer by two (2) additional one (1) year periods.

3. There is no security requirement applicable to the Standing Offer.  

4.  An offer must comply with the requirements of the Request for Standing Offers to be declared responsive. The responsive offer with the lowest evaluated price will be recommended for issuance of a standing offer.

5. The Offeror must submit pricing in accordance with Annex B - Basis of Payment, in Canadian Funds.
