Janitorial Services

The Department of Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) has a
requirement for the supply of labour, material, equipment and
consumables required to provide Janitorial Services at its
location in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. There is a firm
requirement for the general cleaning services. Project cleaning
will be completed on an 'as and when requested' basis using the
Task Authorization process.  

The period of the Contract is for three years with 2 one-year
options.

Before award of a contract, the following conditions must be met:

(a)	the Bidder must hold a valid organization security clearance
as indicated in Part 7 Resulting Contract Clauses;

(b)	the Bidder's proposed individuals requiring access to
classified or protected information, assets or sensitive work
site(s) must meet the security requirement as indicated in Part
7 Resulting Contract Clauses;

(c)	the Bidder must provide the name of all individuals who will
require access to classified or protected information, assets or
sensitive work sites.

The requirement is subject to the provisions of the World Trade
Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP), the
North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), and the Agreement
on Internal Trade (AIT).

Delivery Date: 01/02/2013

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
