Femtosecond Laser

The Royal Military College of Canada (RMCC), Department of Physics and Space Science has a requirement for a Femtosecond Laser to be used in the field of Ultra-fast Optics.

Mandatory Technical Criteria
The Bidder must demonstrate they meet the following mandatory specifications:
1) Emission Wavelength: Centre wavelength must be 515nm. 
2) Average output power: 40mW minimum.
3) Pulse duration: 200fs maximum.
4) Collimated free space output, M2: 1.4 maximum.
5) Cooling: Air Cooled.
6) Dimensions: Width: 300mm maximum; Length: 500mm maximum; Height: 160mm maximum.
7) Weight: 35kg maximum. 

Mandatory Financial Criteria
1. Bidders must submit a completed Annex B, Basis of Payment, with their bid at the time of
bid closing.
2. The price used in the evaluation will be the total firm price for the complete requirement as
detailed in Annex A, Requirement.
3. The price of the bid will be evaluated in Canadian dollars, the Goods and Services Tax or
the Harmonized Sales Tax excluded, FOB destination, Canadian customs duties and excise taxes included.

Basis of Selection
A bid must comply with the requirements of the bid solicitation and meet all mandatory technical evaluation criteria to be declared responsive. The responsive bid with the lowest evaluated price will be recommended for award of a contract.
