IMPORTANT NOTICE TO SUPPLIERS RE. BID SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Due to the impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic, temporary measures are being taken on-site at the Ontario Region Bid Receiving Unit to encourage social distancing. The health and safety of staff and suppliers remains our top priority. 

Suppliers are required to submit bids electronically using the Canada Post epost Connect application for the subject bid solicitation. This service allows suppliers to submit bids, offers and arrangements electronically to PWGSC Bid Receiving Units. This online service enables the electronic transfer of large files up to Protected B level.

The Department of National Defence (DND), require accommodations in Trenton due to the unexpected unavailability of accommodations at CFB Trenton. The DND will require contracted support for accommodations and hotel amenities. 

Mandatory Technical Criteria
1. The property must be located within 30 km of CFB Trenton located at K0K 3W0
2. Rooms must be single or double occupancy and non-smoking.
3. Private full bath with minimum of a toilet, sink and shower.
4. Alarm Clock or easy access to a reliable wake-up call services.
At least two (2) accessible electrical outlets.
5. In-room telephone capable of making international calls. 
6. Rooms must have internet (Wi-Fi) access throughout the common areas, including guest rooms.
 
Method of Selection:
A bid must comply with the requirements of the bid solicitation and meet all mandatory technical evaluation criteria to be declared responsive. The two responsive bids with the lowest evaluated price will be recommended for award of a contract. Two standing offers will be issued and ranked by lowest price first.
