ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES

This amends the closing date of the NPP to 10 June 2014
This PWGSC office provides procurement services to the public in
English.

This requirement is for Regional Individual Standing Offers
(RISOs) for the provision of professional and technical services
for various types of environmental services in Ontario Region
for Public Works & Government Services Canada.  

The projects are grouped into six streams:

1 - Ecological and Environmental Assessments
2 - Environmental Audits
3 - Environmental Site Assessments, Risk Assessments and Site
Remediation/Risk Management Measures
4 - Assessment, Abatement and Disposal of Hazardous Materials
5 - Water Assessment
6 - Sustainability and Greening Government Operations

The number of Regional Individual Standing Offers (RISOs) which
are anticipated for each Stream are as follows:

Offerors may submit an Offer for any or all Streams, however a
separate AND complete offer is required for each Stream.  Offers
for parts of Streams are not acceptable.  However, it is
possibles for Offerors to Joint Venture.  The same subcontractor
may be included in more than one Offer.  If a subcontractor is
proposed as one of the team members, both personnel and company
security clearances must be met.  An organization can receive
more than one Standing Offer, but not for the same Stream.

The period of the RISOs is from date of issue to 31 March 2016
with the right to request two additional one year extension
periods.

Before issuance of a standing offer,  the following conditions
must be met:

1.     	The Contractor/Offeror must, at all times during the
performance of the Contract/Standing Offer, hold a valid
Designated Organization Screening (DOS), issued by the Canadian
In-dustrial Security Directorate (CISD), Public Works and
Government Services Canada (PWGSC).

2.	The Contractor/Offeror personnel requiring access to
sensitive work site(s) must EACH hold a valid RELIABILITY
STATUS, granted or approved by  CISD/PWGSC.

3.  	Subcontracts which contain security requirements are NOT to
be awarded  without the prior written permission of CISD/PWGSC.

4.  	The Contractor/Offeror must comply with the provisions of
the:

	(a) Security Requirements Check List and security guide (if
applicable).

	(b) Industrial Security Manual (Latest Edition).

There is another very similar solicitation - Solicitation No.
EQ447-141642/A.  That solicitation is restricted solely to
Aboriginal Businesses as defined in the Set-aside Program for
Aboriginal Business (SPAB).
