Environment Canada’s Canada Centre for Inland Waters (CCIW) has a requirement for the provision of scheduled preventive maintenance services for the Caterpillar G3516 Genset, Serial Number 4EK00583. The requirement also includes unscheduled repairs, the rental of an emergency generator, and a top-end overhaul on an as and when requested basis.

This requirement includes, but is not limited to: 

(1) Scheduled Maintenance Services such as draining the aftercooler condensation, replacing the engine speed sensor, and changing the spark plugs.

(2) Corrective emergency repairs.

The period of the contract is from contract award to March 31, 2021, with two optional one-year extensions. 

Arrangements have been made for the site visit to be held at 867 Lakeshore Road in Burlington ON L7S 1A1 on January 9th, 2019. The site visit will begin at 10:30 am EST in the lobby.

Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting Authority no later than January 8th, 2019 at 4:00 pm EST to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend.

The intent is to award a Contract to the responsive bid with the lowest evaluated cost. The evaluated cost will be the aggregate cost of the contract period and option years detailed in Annex B.
