Title: Structural Engineering Services, Request For Standing Offer (RFSO)

Location: Various Locations, BC and Yukon

    DESCRIPTION OF WORK:

Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) is inviting Structural Engineering expertise to submit proposals for Standing Offers. This procurement will follow a one phase submission process. The selected consultants shall provide a range of services as identified in the Required Services section of the Request for Standing Offer document for building projects in British Columbia & Yukon.

Proponents shall be licensed or eligible to be licensed to practise in the province of British Columbia and Yukon. The Proponent should be able to demonstrate that over at least the past two (2) years, they have participated in a range of projects requiring a full scope of services in accordance with the Required Services (RS) section. The past experience summarized should focus on the Proponent’s participation in the structural and/or seismic engineering components of the projects while still addressing the full scope of services described in the Required Services (RS) section.

    DELIVERY DATE:

It is PWGSC's intention to authorize up to two (2) Standing Offers, each for a period of two (2) years from the date of issuing the Standing Offers with the irrevocable option to extend for two (2) additional one (1) year periods under the same conditions. The total dollar value of all Standing Offers is estimated to be $5,000,000.00 (Applicable Taxes included). Individual call-ups will vary, up to a maximum of $1,500,000.00 (Applicable Taxes included). Proponents should note that there is no guarantee that the full or any amount of the Standing Offers will be called-up; PWGSC will award call-ups only when the specific services to be provided under the Standing Offer are needed.

    SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:

Proponents are hereby informed that there is a strong possibility that some call-ups against the Standing Offers might require that the consultants and their personnel possesses a Facility Security Clearance (FSC) at the SECRET level issued by the Contract Security Program of Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC).

Should the successful proponents not have the level of security indicated above, PWGSC shall sponsor the successful proponents so CISD can initiate procedures for security clearance. CISD, by letter, shall forward documentation to the successful proponents for completion.

Proponents desiring such sponsorship should so indicate in their covering letter with their proposal.

Addenda, when issued will be available from Buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders.
