    Title: Port Simpson Dredge Study 
    
    Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) intends to retain an individual consulting firm or joint venture to provide the professional services for the project as set out in this Request for Proposal (RFP).
      
    This is a single phase selection process.  
    
    Proponents responding to this RFP are requested to submit a full and complete proposal.  The proposal will cover not only the qualifications, experience and organization of the proposed Consultant Team, but also the detailed approach to the work, and the pricing and terms offered.  A combination of the technical and price of services submissions will constitute the proposal.
    
    Port Simpson Small Craft Harbour is located 32 km north of Prince Rupert, British Columbia in the town of Port Simpson (also known as Lax Kw’alaams) on the northern coast of the Tsimpsean Peninsula. The harbour is an active commercial fishing facility, under the administration of Fisheries and Oceans Canada’s Small Craft Harbours Branch (SCH) in collaboration with the Lax Kw’alaams First Nation. The harbour provides the main access to the Port Simpson Village. 
    
    SCH is looking for a comprehensive study that will undertake coastal and environmental studies to assess the effects of dredging in the harbour.
    
    All work to be completed by March 16th, 2018

    This project is estimated to cost between $100,000.00 to $150,000.00.
