The Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) seeks to acquire an appraisal on behalf of Parks Canada in order to obtain an independent and informed estimate of the market value of the subject portfolio.

PSPC Valuation Program is the recognized center of expertise responsible for providing independent and impartial appraisal and valuation services for all federal government departments, agencies and Crown corporations to make informed real estate decisions. In order to deliver on its mandate, PSPC contracts for appraisal services from the private sector and has a Memorandum of Understanding with both the Appraisal Institute of Canada (AIC) and L’Ordre des évaluateurs agréés du Québec (OEAQ), that recognizes the professional experience and qualifications of their members. 

The intended use of the appraisal report is to assist Parks Canada in preparing an acquisition strategy for the Subject Portfolio. 
 
The appraisal will be subject to the professional standards of AIC as well as being compliant with PSPC’s Valuation Guidelines, which provide the content and format required in the appraisal.
