    The PWGSC Vancouver office provides procurement services to the
    public in English.
    
    The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), E Division, Surrey
    Detachment, has a requirement to solicit proposals from vendors
    qualified to provide an Internet (Web based) Online Reporting
    solution and associated implementation services.  The ideal
    vendor will be an established solution vendor with an
    industry-recognized solution for Online Reporting.
    
    The Contract period for this RFP will be from the date of
    Contract award for a period up to 3 years.
    
    Scope of the Project
    To implement an On-line Internet (Web-based)  Reporting Solution
     that will reduce time spent by staff on administrative tasks
    associated with taking reports; will eliminate re-keying of
    information submitted online; will interface and communicate
    with the RCMP Records Management Systems to prevent and avoid
    re-keying of information; will provide a viable and
    user-friendly alternative to reporting by phone or in person and
    will allow report submission in the language of choice.
    
    The  initial Online Reporting Application Solution will be
    implemented for the RCMP Surrey Detachment, Surrey,  BC.  The
    population of  the City of Surrey is over 462,000. 
    
    On successful completion of the implementation for the RCMP
    Surrey Detachment,  the RCMP may acquire more licenses for other
    jurisdictions, municipalities, or cities within Canada.

    The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
    procurement.
