    Objective and Background

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) "E" Division (the
"Client") has a requirement for a commercially available
evidence tracking and management software (the "Software
Solution") with user maintenance and technical support at the
Green Timbers Exhibit Facility (GTEF) in Surrey, British
Columbia. The software solution, once successfully implemented,
will amalgamate all current multiple databases enabling RCMP
exhibit custodians to manage all data in a single database and
have statistical oversight and accountability of all exhibits
within their custody. The software solution should enable
exhibit custodians to quickly locate items within the facility,
track items that are removed from the facility and reduce the
risk of data entry errors with the use of handheld scanners and
    barcode labels.

RCMP "E" Division Headquarters Federal and Provincial units are
currently using a number of different databases to store their
exhibit information. RCMP subject matter experts have determined
that existing databases: Versadex - PRIME Property Module, PERCS
Index - Evidence Manager, Niche - PROS and E&R III do not meet
    the needs of the GTEF.

The software solution will allow the RCMP to:
    a)	amalgamate data currently stored in nine different units onto
    the new single database; and
    b)	concurrently allow all licensed users to enter their seizure
information and exhibit custodians to manage the custody of all
    items electronically

    Requirement
The Contractor must provide a software solution for 12
concurrent users with an option to add additional concurrent
users and initial one-year warranty and software maintenance and
technical support. This requirement must also include the
provision of data conversion scripts, user training, the option
to extend maintenance and technical support, and an option to
provide customization for software reports or forms on an as and
    when required basis.

    Delivery: March 28,2013

    Delivery Date: Above-mentioned

    procurement.
