    General:
The Canadian Coast Guard requires Integrated Access Devices to
interface between their microwave radio communications equipment
and their Communications Control System equipment on both their
remote mountain top radio sites located in the coastal northern
BC and their radio communications centres. These Integrated
Access Communications Devices will be used to drop and insert
marine VHF radio channels and several data channels to/from a
digital multi-T1 stream and cross connect partial T1 streams as
    needed.

Coast Guard currently uses TELCO SYSTEMS communications
equipment at all its communications sites. These units come in
pairs with various plug-in modules. Coast Guard is re-locating
one end of these links and requires purchasing in advance an
exact duplicate of the existing system to facilitate cut-over of
essential safety services without loss of service to the public.
These units must be plug-and-play with the existing Access60
equipment, and therefore, only TELCO SYSTEMS Access60 equipment
and plug-in modules will interchange directly with our existing
    TELCO SYSTEMS Access60 equipment.
