Introduction 
With the launching of the High Efficiency Mining Program at
National Research Council (NRC), NRC-Vancouver has been mandated
to work on a Master Project, Mining Wear and Corrosion, with the
goal to help the Canadian Mining Industry combat/reduce
equipment/component wear and corrosion, an ever plaguing (and
perhaps the most predominant) problem in terms of equipment
maintenance (and resultant downtime). The Master Project will be
focused on material and processing technology development as
well as testing, analyzing and modeling material and component
failures related to wear and corrosion. For this purpose, one of
the essential aspects is to study the mechanical behavior of the
relevant materials. 

The Servo-hydraulic Mechanical Testing System will be used to
perform various mechanical testing of materials related to, but
not limited to, tension, compression, fatigue and fracture
mechanics.

Requirement
National Research Council (NRC), NRC-Vancouver require the
supply, delivery and installation of  ONE(1) Servo-hydraulic
Mechanical Testing System.
