    Requirement: GNSS Base / Rover Package for Real Time Kinematic (RTK) surveying
    
    The Geological Survey of Canada (GSC) - Pacific of Natural Resources Canada has a requirement for the supply and delivery of GNSS Base/Rover Package for Real Time Kinematic (RTK) surveying which must meet all the mandatory requirements as specified in Annex A.
    
    Mandatory Technical Criteria:
    
    The contractor must provide one (1) GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) base/rover kit, as follows:
    
    • Two (2) survey grade GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) receivers, including hard case and all required ancillary equipment for use in the field including, but not limited to, rechargeable batteries (one main set and one spare), chargers, power cables, and cables for data download; 
    
    • One (1) data controller with keypad and access software, including all required ancillary equipment for use in the field including, but not limited to, batteries, power supply, hand strap, USB cable, rover pole bracket; 
    
    • One (1) 2m rover pole;
    The Contractor must also provide two years of warranty for the GNSS receivers.
    The GNSS receivers must be survey grade and capable of achieving or exceeding the following accuracies: 
    
    RTK: (Single baseline) 
    
    • Horizontal 8 mm +1 ppm (parts per million) RMS (Root Mean Squared) 
    
    • Vertical = 15 mm + 1 ppm RMS 
    
    RTK: (Network RTK) 
    
    • Horizontal = 8 mm + 0.5 ppm RMS 
    
    • Vertical 15 mm + 0.5 ppm RMS 
    Static and Fast Static GNSS surveying. 
    
    • Horizontal = 3 mm + 0.5 ppm RMS 
    
    • Vertical = 5mm + 0.5 ppm RMS
    High Precision Static GNSS surveying. 
    
    • Horizontal = 3 mm + 0.5 ppm RMS 
    
    • Vertical = 3.5mm + 0.4 ppm RMS
    
    RTK start-up time must be less than 8 seconds
    
    Receivers must be capable of tracking the following satellite signals simultaneously: 
    
    • GPS L1C/A, L1P(Y), L2C, L2P(Y), L5
    
    • GLONASS L1C/A, L1P, L2C/A, L2P, L3
    
    • Beidou (Phase II) B1, B2
    
    • Galileo E1, E5a, E5b
    
    • QZSS L1C/A, L1-SAIF, L1C, L2C, L5
    
    • SBAS L1C/A, L5 (WAAS, EGNOS, MSAS, GAGAN, SDCM)
    
    • IRNSS L5
    
    The GNSS receivers must have an internal radio that transmits and receives thus allowing the unit to operate in the "base" and "rover" modes. 
    
    GNSS receivers shall meet or exceed these specifications for communications and data storage: 
    
    • Radio Modem: fully integrated, sealed 450 MHZ wide band receiver/transmitter with frequency range of 410 MHz to 470 MHz and with a transmit power of 2 W giving a range >3 km.
    
    • USB: supports data download
    
    The GNSS receivers must be able to send and receive the following data correction protocols: 
    
    • ATOM, CMR, CMR+, RTCM 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 3.0, 3.1 and 3.2 (including MSM), and CMRx.
    
    • Transmit NMEA 0183 messages as output
    
    • GNSS receivers must meet or exceed the following:
    
    • Cellular: integrated, 3.5G quad-band GSM (850/900/1800/1900 MHz) / penta-band UMTS module (800/850/900/1900/2100 MHz).
    
    • GNSS receivers must have WiFi: 802.11 b/g/n.
    
    The GNSS receivers must be fully Bluetooth integrated 
    
    The GNSS receivers must he capable of data storage: at least 1 GB internal memory; 
    
    The GNSS receivers must be able to track a minimum of 200 GNSS channels 
    
    The GNSS receivers must be capable of withstanding the following environmental conditions: -30.0 C to +40 C while operational or in storage.
    
    The system must be able to notify the surveyor through a cellular connection via a SMS message or an e-mail if the base receiver has detected any movement
    GNSS receivers must meet or exceed the following ingress protection: 
    
    • IP67 dustproof 
    • Protected from temporary immersion to depth of 1 meter 
    • Able to operate in all weather conditions including but not limited to snow, sleet, and rain.
    • GNSS receivers must be designed to survive a 2 m pole drop onto concrete. 
    
    GNSS receiver individual weight must not exceed 3 lbs with battery, radio and antenna. 
    
    GNSS receivers must be compatible With Trimble RTX real time correction services.
    
    GNSS receivers must use a removable, rechargeable batteries with a built-in power indicator.
    
    The initial order must be delivered on or before March 29, 2019.
    
    There are no security requirements associated with this requirement.
    
    This procurement is subject to he North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).
    
    The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
