Trade Agreement: NAFTA / CFTA / FTAs with Peru / Colombia / Panama / Korea Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Competitive Procurement Strategy: Best Overall Proposal Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: Soft Body Armour - Ballistic 21801-170114/A Perez, Elizabeth Telephone No. - (604) 671-2613 Fax No. - (604) 775-7526 Email: elizabeth.perez@pwgsc-tpsgc.gc.ca Requirement: Correctional Service Canada (CSC) requires the supply and delivery of an initial order of seventy (70) Soft Body Armour with Front and Back Ballistic Pad Set and External Carriers in various sizes and quantities. There is an option to purchase additional quantities over the next 2 years. There are two styles of Soft Body Armour - one gender neutral (flat panels) for use by male or female officers, and a female shape, both must be certified to the ballistic requirements of NIJ 101.06 Type II. Both front and back panels must be encapsulated in a water-proof pouch and must have the ability to be easily wiped clean. The ballistic panels must be housed in an external carrier designed to be worn over a uniform shirt. The carriers must be shaped to retain the ballistic panels securely in place. The gender neutral and female ballistic panels must come complete with one external carrier as a unit. When sitting, the panels must not touch/interfere with the duty belt. A unit consists of two ballistic panels (front and back) and a carrier. All articles or materials covered by this purchase discription must be free from imperfections or blemishes such as may affect its appearance or serviceability. Point of Delivery: Various CSC locations in BC: Mission, Abbotsford and Agassiz. Delivery Date: on or before March 29, 2018. The requirement is subject to the provisions of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), and the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA). Delivery Date: Above-mentioned The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
