REQUIREMENT:
Environment and Climate Change Canada requires 20 remote cable traversing systems in order to collect hydrometric data. The systems will be used to move acoustic Doppler current profilers (ADCP) across the cableways. Mandatory rated criteria will be used and the contractor with the lowest responsive bid will be selected.

Canada intends to issue a single Contract for the purchase of 20 remote cable traversing systems.

There is no security requirement associated with this bid solicitation.

The requirement is subject to the provisions of the World Trade Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP), the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), the Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic Trade Agreement (CETA), the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP), the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), and the Free Trade Agreements with Canada-Chile, Canada-Columbia, Canada-Honduras, Canada-Korea, Canada-Panama, Canada-Peru and Canada-Ukraine.

Canada retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
