This bid solicitation cancels and supersedes previous bid solicitation number 21801-200071/A dated 2020-07-23 with a closing of 2020-08-07 at 14:00 Pacific Daylight Time (PDT). A debriefing or feedback session will be provided upon request to bidders/offerors/suppliers who bid on the previous solicitation.

This requirement is for the provision of Care of Remains and Funeral Services for Correctional Services Canada in one or more of the geographical Areas listed in Annex "A"- Statement of requirement, on and as and when requested basis. The Offeror offers to provide all labour, materials, equipment and supervision required for Indigent funeral services, grounds burials, cremation services and grave markers o for Correctional Services Canada, various locations in British Columbia.
 
The period for making call-ups against the Standing Offer is from September 1st, 2020 to August 31st, 2022, with options to extend up to 3 additional one year periods.

It is anticipated that one Standing Offer per geographical Area will be awarded as a result of this Request for Standing Offer. It may be the same Offeror. The geographical Areas are: Vancouver Island and Lower Mainland.

The requirement is not subject to any trade agreements.

The requirement is subject to a preference for Canadian goods and/or services.

Due to the impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic, temporary measures are being taken on-site at the Pacific Region Bid Receiving Unit to encourage social distancing. The health and safety of staff and suppliers remains our top priority.

This service allows suppliers to submit bids, offers and arrangements electronically to PWGSC Bid Receiving Units. This online service enables the electronic transfer of large files up to Protected B level.

Bids will not be accepted if emailed directly to this email address.
