The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has a requirement for a
steam sterilizer, to be delivered and installed at the Burnaby
Microbiology Laboratory in BC.

The work includes the supply, delivery and installation of a
steam sterilizer. Delivery and installation is required on or
before March 28, 2013. This requirement is subject to the North
American Free Trade Agreement and the Agreement on Internal
Trade.

Evaluation and Selection Methodology

Bids will be evaluated on a set of mandatory requirements and
point rated criteria.

The evaluation will be based on the highest responsive combined
rating of technical merit and price.  The ratio will be 60% for
the technical score and 40% for the financial score.

Debriefings

After contract award, bidders may request a debriefing on the
results of the bid solicitation. Bidders should make the request
to the Contracting Authority within 15 working days of receipt
of notification that their bid was unsuccessful. The debriefing
may be provided in writing, by telephone or in person.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
