    The Department of National Defence has a requirement for the provision of janitorial services. The work will take place at Nanaimo / Nanoose Bay, B.C. 
    
    The Contractor must provide labour, supervision, material, equipment and transportation for the cleaning and maintenance, from 1 April 2018 to 31 March  2021 (includes two options for extension of one year each), in accordance with the requirements set out in Annex "A" - Statement of Work.
    
    Contract Period:
    The period of the Contract is from April 1 2018 to March 31 2021, inclusive, with two additional one-year periods under the same conditions.
    
    Security:
    There is a security requirement associated with this requirement.
    
    Optional Site Visit / Bidders Conference:
    Participation in both the Site Visit and the Bidders Conference is optional. It is, however, highly recommended that the Bidder or their representative attend. Arrangements have been made for the site visit to be held at NANAIMO / NANOOSE BAY, (CFMETR Nanoose Bay), BC on JULY 25 2017. 
    
    The site visit will begin at 0945 hrs. The Bidders Conference will take place immediately following. The scope of the requirement outlined in the bid solicitation will be reviewed during the conference and questions will be answered. It is recommended that bidders who intend to submit a bid attend or send a representative.
    
    Bidders must communicate with the Contracting Authority no later than JULY 20 2017 confirm attendance and provide the name(s), and driver’s license numbers of the person(s) who will attend, along with the name of the company. 
    
    Trade Agreements:
    The requirement is subject to the provisions of the World Trade Organization - Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP), the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), and the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).
