The Dominion Radio Astrophysical Observatory (DRAO) operates sensitive radio telescopes that are extremely sensitive to RFI generated from electronic devices, even if they meet DoC and FCC regulations. The DRAO and surrounding area is a radio protected zone and to ensure emission levels are not exceeded electronic devices are housed in shielded enclosures.

To facilitate large group meetings, the DRAO is combining two rooms in its main building (built circa 1959) into one so they can house a large shielded enclosure. The enclosure will be occupied by at most 30 people and will house AV, wireless, laptops and other equipment. 

The NRC is seeking proposals to supply, install and test such an enclosure. 

Mandatory delivery must be on or before March 31, 2017
