    REQUIREMENT: The Contractor is responsible for provision of all
    labour, supervision, material, equipment and transportation
    required for JANITORIAL SERVICES as scheduled or on an "as and
    when requested" basis for the Pacific Forestry Centre in
    Victoria, BC.
    
    PERIOD OF CONTRACT: 01 NOV 2013 to 31 OCT 2016 with the option
    to renew for 2 x 1 year periods
    
    SITE VISIT - MANDATORY: A mandatory site visit will be held
    THURS 12 SEP 13 @ 10:30 am. Meet at Visitor Entrance at 506 West
    Burnside Rd, Victoria, BC. Security Safety issues will be dealt
    with when visitors arrive.
    
    Bidders who, for any reason, cannot attend at the specified date
    and time will not be given an alternative appointment to view
    the site and their bids, therefore, will be rejected as
    non-compliant.  NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE.
    
    The document contains a security requirement for enhanced
    reliability.
    
    BEFORE AWARD OF A CONTRACT, the following conditions must be met:
    
    (a)	the Bidder must hold a valid organization security clearance
    as indicated in Part 6 - Resulting Contract Clauses;
    (b)	the Bidder's proposed individuals requiring access to
    classified or protected information, assets or sensitive work
    site(s) must meet the security requirement as indicated in Part
    6 - Resulting Contract Clauses;
    (c)	the Bidder must provide the name of all individuals who will
    require access to classified or protected information, assets or
    sensitive work sites.
    
    2.	BIDDERS ARE REMINDED TO OBTAIN THE REQUIRED SECURITY
    CLEARANCE PROMPTLY. Any delay in the award of a contract to
    allow the successful bidder to obtain the required clearance
    will be at the entire discretion of the Contracting Authority.
