Overview;
The following is the minimum Government of Canada requirements for a pH adjustment system, comprised of a pH neutralizer and other ancillary equipment, to be used in the Corrosive Fluid Facility (CFF) at Department of National Defense (DND), Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Esquimalt.  This system will be used to treat wastewater from a 150,000 L containment pit.  The pH adjustment system will draw influent from the containment pit. After the wastewater has been neutralized, the pH adjustment system will pump the effluent into two (2) 15,000 L holding tanks for testing prior to discharge.  The system will cycle autonomously (Fill, neutralize, discharge, and repeat).
