    The Department of National Defence (DND), 17 Wing Winnipeg
    requires a qualified contractor to provide food services to its
    operations at the Whitehorse Cadet Training Centre (WCTC)
    located in Whitehorse, Yukon Canada in accordance with the
    requirement detailed in this Bid solicitation.
    
    This requirement includes the purchase of food supplies and
    ingredients, cooking, serving to authorized personnel, and clean
    up of the dining facilities and equipment.
    
    Operations are continuous during the CTC operations (June, July,
    and August) with estimated daily requirements ranging between 10
    and 250 ration strenghts.
    
    The initial contract period is from date of award to 31-Mar-2016
    with the option to extend the contract by two (2) additional
    periods of one (1) year each under the same conditions (Option
    Year 1: From 01-Apr-2016 to 31-Mar-2017; Option Year 2: From
    01-Apr-2017 to 31-Mar-2018).
    
    Bidders must ensure that their bid submission clearly
    demonstrates their ability to manage the WCTC by submitting
    project references,  management plans, proposed qualified key
    personnel, and any other requested information.  The responsive
    bid with the highest combined rating of technical merit and
    price will be recommended for award of a contract. Refer to Part
    3 - id Preparation Instructions, and Part 4- Evaluation
    Procedure and Basis of Selection of the Bid Solicitation for
    more details.
    
    It is recommended that interested Bidders or representatives of
    the Bidders visit the work site.  Arrangements have been made
    for an OPTIONAL VISIT as follows:
    
    - Visit will be held at 45 Fireweed Drive, Whitehorse, Yukon,
    Canada Y1A 5T8 on Wednesday May 13, 2015, starting at 1:00 PM
    Pacific Daylight Saving Time (PDST).
    
    Bidders must REGISTER with the PWGSC Contracting Authority to
    attend by no later than Thursday May 7, 2015.  Late
    registrations will not be accepted.  Alternate appointments will
    not be given. Refer to section 2.6 of Part 2 of the Bid
    solicitation for registration requirements and deadline
    regarding these site visits	.
    
    This procurement is subject to the provisions of the World Trade
    Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP), the
    North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), the Agreement on
    Internal Trade (AIT), and the Ta'an Kawch'an Council Final
    Agreement.
