This amendment is to respond to bidder’s questions. 

Summary  

Request for Standing Offer (RFSO) for the provision of food services to the Department of National Defence (DND) at its HMCS Quadra Cadet Training Centre (CTC) in Comox BC Canada in accordance with the requirements detailed herein.

The requirement includes the purchase of food supplies and ingredients, cooking, serving to authorized personnel, and clean-up of the dining facilities and equipment. 

The initial period of the Standing Offer (SO) from date of issuance to May 31, 2023 with the option to extend the period of the Standing Offer by up to two (2) additional one (1) year periods under the same conditions.

The requirement is subject to a preference for Canadian goods and/or services.

This RFSO allows offerors to use the CPC Connect service provided by Canada Post Corporation to transmit their offers electronically. Offerors must refer to Part 2 of the RFSO entitled Offeror Instructions and Part 3 of the RFSO entitled Offer Preparation Instructions, for further information on using this method. 

This requirement is subject to the COVID-19 Vaccination Policy for Supplier Personnel. Failure to complete and provide the COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement Certification as part of the offer will render the offer non-responsive.
