    ===========================
    
    The purpose of this Request for Supply Arrangement (RFSA) is to
    initiate a competitive process leading to the selection of firms
    to enter into a Supply Arrangement (SA) with Public Works and
    Government Services Canada to provide a range of Marine
    Technical Inspector services on an "as and when requested" basis.
    
    Supply Arrangements include a set of predetermined terms and
    conditions that will apply to any subsequent contracts. The
    Supply Arrangements will include ceiling rates applicable to
    resulting requirements, and allow PWGSC to negotiate the price
    downward based on the actual requirement or scope of work.
    
    The Supply Arrangement will be refreshed annually to allow new
    suppliers to qualify.
    
    SERVICE
    On behalf of Federal government client departments, Public Works
    and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) requires the provision of
    Marine Technical Inspector services to be made available in
    British Columbia and Alberta in accordance with the attached
    Statement of Work.
    
    The purpose of the Inspection services are to verify technical
    compliance for the construction, repair or refit of Small
    Vessels (<1000 tonnes displacement).  
    
    Period of the Supply Arrangement
    The Supply Arrangement will be issued for a period of one (1)
    year from date of issue with an option for up to one (1)
    additional one (1) year period.
    
    The requirement is subject to the provisions of the Agreement on
    Internal Trade (AIT).
    The procurement is limited to Canadian services.
    
    This office of PWGSC serves the public in English.

    The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
    procurement.
    
    Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
