Trade Agreement: NONE Tendering Procedures: Attachment: None Competitive Procurement Strategy: N/A - P&A/LOI Only Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: Thirty Meter Telescope Project 31034-149493/A Sole, Mike Telephone No. - (250) 363-8444 ( ) Email: Mike.Sole@pwgsc-tpsgc.gc.ca National Reserach Council (NRC) requires engineering, design and possible fabrication services in support of various NFIRAOS opto-mechanical subsystems. In support of these services, NRC is inviting interested parties to attend a virtual WebEx session in which the NRC Herzberg technical authorities will outline the basics of the various subsystems, including budgets and timelines. The Information Session will be held virtually on August 28, 2014 beginning at 09:00am PDT. It is anticipated that this session will not last more than two (2) hours and will be conducted in English. The details of the session are still being organized and as such cannot be published at this time. Access will require an internet connection and an internet browser to view the shared visual portion of the session, along with access to a telephone for the audio portion of the session. Interested parties must contact the Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) Contracting Authority named herein in order to be given access to the WebEx Information Session. Note that at this time, there is no firm requirement for procurement. A subsequent solicitation will be issued once a requirement for procurement has been finalized. Responding to this RFI is entirely optional and is not a pre-qualification for procurement, nor a prerequisite for participation in any future solicitations from PWGSC. Documents associated with this Request For Information (also known as a Letter of Interest) are available at http://buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders. This PWGSC office provides procurement services to the public in English. Delivery Date: Above-mentioned The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
