W6837-154061/A GSIN E199A Mike Sole - Supply Specialist Telephone No. - (250) 508-6183 Fax No. - (250) 363-3344 The Department of National Defence seeks a contractor to supply Nanaimo MilitaryCamp, Nanaimo Range and CFMETR (Canadian Forces Maritime Experimental Test Range) Nanoose BC with Waste & Recycle collection and disposal services. Work is to be performed during the period from 01 May 2016 up to and including 30 April 2017. There isa single one year renewal option to be exercised at the sole discretion of the Crown. The requirement includes a security requirement. It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work sites. Arrangements have beenmade for the site visit to be held at CFMETR near Nanaimo, BC on 15 March, 2016. The site visit will begin at 10:15 PST, at the main entrance to the facility. The site visit will involve travel between two locations, and Bidders or their representativesmust ensure that they are equipped with appropriate means of transportation. Bidders must communicate with the Contracting Authority by email no later than 15:00 PST 11 March 2016 to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of a maxiumof two person(s) who will attend. Specific directions will be provided to Bidders at that time. Representatives will be required to produce a piece of government issued photo identification to be allowed access to the site. Bidders who do not confirm attendance and who do not provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend as required will not be allowed access to the site. Bidders will be requested to sign an attendance sheet. No alternative appointment will be given to bidders who donot attend or do not send a representative. Bidders who do not participate in the visit will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Bids will be evaluated based on lowest price. It is the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure that all addenda issued prior to solicitation closing have been obtained and addressed in the submitted bid. This office of PWGSC provides service to the public in English. The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
