REQUIREMENT: National Research Council Canada has a requirement for a Standing Offer for the supply of various quantities of Field Programmable Arrays (FPGAs), which are integrated circuits.

The FPGAs will be used in NRC’s research and development program towards early prototyping efforts as part of Canada’s deliverables for the “Central Signal Processor Mid” used in the international Square Kilometre Array (SKA) project. In addition to the supply of the FPGAs, the NRC requires the Altera Early Access Program (EAP).  As part of the EAP, customers will be able to preview Altera’s OpenCL solution and receive access to an OpenCL for FPGA training course, collateral and technical demonstrations. PERIOD OF RISO: The expected period of the Standing Offer is from contract award to March 31, 2020.  

TRADE AGREEMENTS: The requirement is subject to the provisions of the World Trade Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP), the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), the Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA), and the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).

DEBRIEFINGS: Bidders may request a debriefing on the results of the bid solicitation process.  Bidders should make the request to the Contracting Authority within 15 working days of receipt of the results of the bid solicitation process.  The debriefing may be in writing, by telephone or in person.
