SECURITY REQUIREMENT 

The Department of National Defence has a requirement for the provision of tree trimming and removal services on an “as-and-when-requested” basis. The work performed under this contract includes the supply of all labour, materials, tools, equipment, supervision, transportation, etc. necessary to provide pruning, topping, felling, clearing, removing, and pesticide/herbicide application. 

The work will be performed at various sites in/around Greater Victoria (Canadian Forces Base Esquimalt), and in/around Nanaimo and Nanoose Bay (Canadian Forces Maritime Experimental and Test Ranges). 

Canada intends to issue up to two contracts. 

The period of the contract will be for THREE (3) years from the date of award with the irrevocable option to extend the term of the contract by TWO (2) additional periods of ONE (1) year each under the same conditions

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
