Summary The Department of National Defence (DND) has a requirement for Civilian academic expertise for the development of comprehensive courseware training for various positions, including but not limited to, Leading Seaman Marine Technician (MARTECH) Specialist: Electrical. The initial firm requirement is to develop courseware in relation to specific material outlined in the Unique Specialty Qualification for Leading Seaman (USQ LS) MARTECH Specialist: Mechanical Qualification Standard and Plan (QSP). It must include Lessons Package content, Teaching Aids, courseware checklists, student evaluation tools, and assessment instruments. Subsequent courseware requirements for other specialist positions will be developed through the Task Authorization process. The courseware will be part of a facilitated classroom and ancillary instruction training program to be utilized by Naval Training Development Center Pacific (NTDC(P)) and the three Naval Fleet Schools (NFS) commencing in January 2019.
