    Description of Work: 
    
    The Department of Fisheries and Oceans (DFO) - Canadian Coast Guard (CCG), has the firm operational requirement for the supply and delivery of FOUR (4) new Single Cylinder Diesel Engine packages. This requirement includes the option to purchase up to TEN (10) additional engines within 36 months of Contract award.
     
    These packages will be used as non-portable generator units, in a permanent fixed application at remote facilities. The intent is to standardize the application of diesel generators at these remote sites going forward. 
    
    The engines must be HATZ 1D90 D-Series Diesel Engines or "equivalent."  
    Each engine must be supplied with the base unit, as well as, all optional components as specified in section 4.8.2 Parts and Compatibility, or "equivalent." 
    
    Delivery Date: 
    
    Firm Requirement: While delivery for the firm requirement is preferred before February 28th, 2019, the firm requirement must be delivered by no later than March 31st, 2019.
      
    Options to Purchase: The delivery for the options to purchase - if exercised - are preferred within 18 weeks from written notice to the Contractor.
