In order to coordinate the two-way radio portion of the dispatch, both Banff and Jasper currently operate using a Zetron Series 4000 Communication Control System. At each site, the systems are composed of the Series 4000 central switching equipment along with several Zetron Radio Dispatch Consoles also known as Integrator consoles, for use by the dispatchers. A Dispatch Services Review, undertaken earlier this year, identified an operational weakness due to the fact that the Banff and Jasper dispatches were both running independently and isolated from each other. To address this weakness, it was recommended that Banff add an additional VoIP Radio Dispatch Console that was connected to the Jasper Dispatch system in order to be able to remotely monitor the Jasper dispatch and assist or take over operations if necessary. Conversely, it was recommended that Jasper add an additional VoIP Radio Dispatch Console in order to remotely monitor the Banff dispatch and assist or take over operations if necessary. In order to allow the new VoIP Radio Dispatch consoles operate properly within the two dispatch environments, it is also necessary to make some upgrades to the overall Zetron Series 4000 Communication Control Systems at each of the dispatch locations. A technical analysis of the dispatch systems was run and detailed parts lists were obtained, as outlined in solicitation document. While the delivery is requested by February 20, 2015, all the deliverables must be received on or before March 31, 2015. FOB destination: Parks Canada, Calgary, Alberta TRADE AGREEMENTS The requirement is subject to the provisions of the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT).
