A Task Authorization (TA) Contract is required by the Department of National Defence to supply all labour, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and supervision necessary to perform maintenance and inspections to the Power Plant located at the Sarsat site in Churchill, Manitoba on an as and when requested basis in accordance with Annex A.  

The period of the Contract is from June 1 2017 to 31 May 2019 with Canada retaining an irrevocable option to extend the contract for two additional consecutive one (1) year periods.  Work shall be completed in accordance with the Statement of Work and terms and conditions specified herein.

There is a security requirement associated with this requirement. For additional information, consult Part 6 - Security, Financial and Other Requirements, and Part 7 - Resulting Contract Clauses. For additional information on security requirements, Bidders should refer to the Industrial Security Program (ISP) of Public Works and Government Services Canada (http://ssi-iss.tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca/index-eng.html) website.

The requirement is subject to the provisions of the North American FreeTrade Agreement (NAFTA), Bilateral Trade Agreements and the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT).
