In its support of the 1 Canadian Air Division headquarters
located in Winnipeg, Manitoba, the 1 CAD Graphics Department and
Print Shop designs and produces a variety of graphical work. 
With the use of a laser engraver, the Graphics Department has
been able to produce a variety of signage, awards and
presentation gifts for its clients in the headquarters.  The
existing laser engraver is at the end of its life cycle and in
poor working condition.  

DND requires the purchase of a new laser engraver with the
capacity to be used as a network printer via 10 Base T Ethernet
network connection or an attached PC to allow printer sharing.
Due to space restrictions and an external exhaust requirement,
the laser engraver is located in a separate room from the
workstations.

The requirement is subject to the provisions of the North
American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), and the Agreement on
Internal Trade (AIT).
