The National Research Council Saskatoon requires the supply of
eight (8) controlled environment plant growth chambers as
follows:

Item 1
Two (2) -  Very Cold Temperature Plant Growth Chambers;
Reach-in, 3.72 m² growth area, -5°C to 40°C lights ON, 1000
micromoles/m²/s.

Item 2
Three (3) - Barriered Lamp Low Floor Plant Growth Chambers;
Reach-in, 1.5 m² or 1.9m² growth area, barriered lamp canopy,
humidity additive, HEPA filtered exhaust air,  10°C to 40°C
lights ON, 5°C to 40°C lights OFF, 800 micromoles/m²/s.

Item 3
Three (3) - Low Floor Tall Plant Growth Chambers; Reach-in, 1.5
m² growth area, 1752mm growth height, 4°C to 40°C lights ON or
OFF, humidity additive, 875 micromoles/m²/s.

The specifications below indicate a minimum mandatory standard
required for the equipment.  Bidders may chose to exceed these
minimum requirements to provide a standard production model.

Included in the requirement is the option to purchase additional
units prior to March 31, 2014.   Optional items may be purchased
individually as separate items.  


The requirement is subject to the provisions of the North
American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), and the Agreement on
Internal Trade (AIT).

There is no security requirement associated with this
requirement..

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
