    To provide janitorial services including office, washroom
    cleaning, snow removal and project cleaning, including all
    labour, materials, equipment, tools, transportation and
    supervision for the for Department of National Defence (DND),
    Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Shilo, Manitoba. The services include
    both Routine cleaning (scheduled) and Project cleaning (as and
    when requested/ task authorization) components. The services are
    required for the Department of National Defense - Canadian
    Forces Base Shilo, Manitoba, buildings C105, C106, and C107.  
    
    The term of the Contract will be for 1 year from Contract award,
    with Canada retaining the irrevocable option to extend the
    Contract by two (2) additional one-year periods. The services
    must be provided in accordance with the Specifications outlined
    in Annex A - Statement of Work.
    
    The requirement is subject to the provisions of the World Trade
    Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP), the
    North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), and the Agreement
    on Internal Trade (AIT), the Canada-Chile Free Trade Agreement
    (CCFTA), and the Canada-Peru Free Trade Agreement (CPFTA).
    
    Mandatory Site Visit
    
    It is mandatory that the Bidder or a representative of the
    Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for site
    visit to be held on January 9, 2014 at 10:00am at Building P101
    at the Canadian Forces Base Shilo, Shilo Manitoba. Bidders must
    communicate with the Contracting Authority no later than three
    (3) days before the scheduled visit to confirm attendance and
    provide the names of the person(s) who will attend. Bidders will
    be required to sign an attendance form. Bidders should confirm
    in their bids that they have attended the site visit. Bidders
    who do not attend or send a representative will not be given an
    alternative appointment and their bids will be rejected as
    non-compliant. Any clarifications or changes to the bid
    solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as
    an amendment to the bid solicitation.

    procurement.
