Nature of Requirements: 

For the supply of all labour, materials, equipment, tools, transportation and supervision necessary to conduct physical, chemical and biological analysis on an as required basis on water samples collected by Environmental Health Officers (EHO) from Environmental Public Health Services (EPHS), First Nations and Inuit Health Branch (FNIHB) of the Department of Indigenous Services Canada in Alberta, Manitoba and Saskatchewan as detailed in the Statement of Work (attached hereto as Annex A). The analysis and reporting of water samples will assist EHO’s in determining the potential health risk to drinking water supplies in First Nations communities. The Contract will be in place from 01 July 2018 or date of award to 31 May 2021 inclusive with Canada retaining an irrevocable option to extend the Contract for two (2) additional consecutive one (1) year periods. Work shall be completed in accordance with the Statement of Work and terms and conditions specified herein.

The requirement is subject to the provisions of the World Trade Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP), the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), the Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA), and the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).

This bid solicitation is to establish a contract with task authorizations (TA).
