    REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI)

REGARDING THE TRANSFORMATION OF PAY ADMINISTRATION INITIATIVE
    TRAINING PARTNERSHIP STRATEGY

FOR PUBLIC WORKS AND GOVERNMENT SERVICES CANADA

    SUMMARY
The Accounting Banking and Compensation Branch of Public Works
and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) has a requirement to
establish sustainable partnerships with Canadian Educational
Institutions in order to generate a pool of graduates for
potential employment within the Public Service Pay Centre, the
Federal Government, or private sector organizations within the
    field of compensation.

A major element of the current strategy focuses on supplementing
Canadian Educational Institution course curriculum with
compensation employee training material. By supplementing
current course curriculum with compensation or specialized
training material that is currently provided internally within
PWGSC, the potential exists for graduating students to be better
prepared for a career in the public and private sectors.

    PURPOSE OF THE RFI
PWGSC is issuing this RFI in order to gauge the Educational
Services Industry's interest in establishing long term
sustainable partnerships with Canada for the training of future
compensation employees and to seek feedback from the Educational
Services Industry on the proposed strategy outlined in Annex A.
All stakeholders are encouraged to provide information that they
feel PWGSC should be aware of in the development of a training
    partnership strategy.

This RFI includes a questionnaire at Annex B that consists of
specific questions for the Educational Services Industry to
respond to. Your participation would be greatly appreciated.

    NATURE OF THE RFI
This is not a bid solicitation. This RFI will not result in the
award of any contract or an offer of employment opportunities or
offers. As a result, potential suppliers of any goods or
services described in this RFI should not reserve stock or
facilities, nor allocate resources, as a result of any
information contained in this RFI. This RFI is simply intended
to solicit feedback from industry with respect to the matters
    described in this RFI.
