    The statement of work is to provide shipwright services to carry
    out required investigations and repairs on board the Parks
    Canada Dredge No 4 located near to Dawson City, Yukon Territory
    
    Work must commence and be completed as follows:
    2015 Season:
    	Commence:  Upon award of contract, approximately July 6, 2015;
    	Complete:  	28 September 2015.
    2016 Season:
    	Commence:  May 2016;
    	Complete:  	September 2016. Exact dates are to be determined
    
    Option to Extend the Contract
    The Bidder must grant to Canada the irrevocable option to extend
    the term of the Contract by up to one (1) additional one (1)
    year period under the same conditions.
    
    Bidders' Tele-Conference
    A bidders' tele-conference will be held on May 20, 2015. The
    conference will begin at 10:00 PDT. The scope of the requirement
    outlined in the bid solicitation will be reviewed during the
    conference and questions will be answered. It is recommended
    that bidders who intend to submit a bid attend.
    
    Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting
    Authority at least two (2) working days before the conference to
    confirm their intention to participate and obtain the
    coordinates to log onto the tele-conference.
    
    Optional Site Visit - Vessel 
    It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the
    Bidder visit the Dredge site at Dawson City, Yukon Territory on
    May 19, 2015.  
    
    Attendees are requested to gather at the Parks Canada
    Administrative Office, 5th Avenue, Dawson City at 1:00PM.  The
    Parks Canada Technical Authority and the Attendees will depart
    for the Dredge site in their respective vehicles at 1:15 PM.
    
    Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting
    Authority no later than three (3) day(s) before the scheduled
    visit to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the
    person(s) who will attend.
    
    Sourcing Strategy
    The sourcing strategy related to this procurement will be
    limited to suppliers in Canada, in accordance with the PWGSC
    Supply Manual Article 3.170.10(b).  This procurement is subject
    to AIT and is exempt from NAFTA [see Chapter 10, Annex 1001.2b,
    paragraph 1 (a)] and from the WTO-AGP (see Annex 4).
    
    The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
    procurement.
