Telephone No. - (250) 363-0110 ( ) Fax No. - Line1, SUPPLY DC LOADBANK BACKGROUND Requirement is for a DC Loadbank suitable for the testing of DC generators for the Victoria Class submarines. REQUIREMENT The Department of National Defense has a requirement to fabricate, supply and deliver a electrical DC Loadbank for shore support of the Canadian Navy Submarine Fleet. MANDATORY STANDARDS AND CERTIFICATIONS 1) Capacity: 1800 kW at 480 VDC, 1800 kW at 720VDC with switchable load at 1000 VDC, 2) Detailed Controls: refer to Statement of Requirement in full solicitation document. 3) Machine must be certifiable by an acceptable Canadian Certification Organization per Statement of Requirement. 4) Full set of compliance, Quality Management systems, Manuals, Drawings, Software, Spare Parts Lists, Licensing and Warranty required per Statement of Requirement. DELIVERABLES One (1) Load Bank with an option to purchase one (1) more unit within a year of the original purchase date. DESTINATION Canadian Forces Base Esquimalt Fleet Maintenance Facility - Cape Breton, Building D250 CFB Esquimalt, Victoria, BC V9A 7N2 SOURCING STRATEGY This procurement is subject to: 1) AIT - Agreement on Internal Trade 2) Exempted NAFTA (Chapter 10, Annex 1001.1b-1, Section B) 3) Exempted WTO-AGP (Appendix 1, Annex 1) 4) Exempted Canada-Chile Free Trade Agreement - Part III bis - Chapter K bis- Government Procurement 5) Exempted Canada-Peru Free Trade Agreement (Annex 1401.1-4, Section B, Paragraph 2.
