RCMP- FAB & DEL 5.7 M Aluminum Boats & Trailers.


SUMMARY:

The Technical Statement of Requirement is as follows:

a. Carry out the design, construction, test, trial and delivery of Three (3) 5.3 to 5.7m Aluminum Boats, including outboard motors and trailers for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) in accordance with the associated Technical Specifications detailed in the Statement of Work as Annexe A.. 


OPTIONAL GOODS:
 
 The Contractor grants to Canada the irrevocable option to acquire three (3) boats with trailers, described at AnnexA of the Contract under the same conditions and at the prices and/or rates stated in the Contract. The option may only be exercised by the Contracting Authority and will be evidenced, for administrative purposes only, through a contract amendment.

 The Contracting Authority may exercise the option within 12 months after contract award 

DELIVERY:

Delivery of the boat and all other deliverables are required by the contract to be at destination on or before 15 Mars, 2017.


MISSON STATEMENT:

The vessel will be supporting the various policing operations within the detachment including border enforcement, tactical operations, transport of personnel and search and rescue (SAR) operations.

The sourcing strategy related to this procurement is subject to the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT)..
