Transport Canada - FAB & DEL 6.5 - 7.0 M Aluminum Rigid Inflatable Boat & Trailer.


SUMMARY:

The Technical Statement of Requirement is as follows:

a. Carry out the design, construction, test, trial and delivery of One (1) 6.5 to 7.0 m Aluminum RIB, including trailer for Transport Canada (TC) in accordance with the associated Technical Specifications detailed in the Statement of Work as Annex A. 


OPTIONAL GOODS:
 
 The Contractor grants to Canada the irrevocable option to acquire one (1) boat with trailer, described at Annex A of the Contract under the same conditions and atthe prices and/or rates stated in the Contract. The option may only be exercised by the Contracting Authority and will be evidenced, for administrative purposes only, through a contract amendment.

 The Contracting Authority may exercise the option within 12 months after contract award 

DELIVERY:

Delivery of the boat and all other deliverables are required by the contract to be at destination by March 31, 2017.


MISSON STATEMENT:

The vessel will be supporting the various policing operations within the detachment including border enforcement, tactical operations, transport of personnel and search and rescue (SAR) operations.

TRADE AGREEMENTS:

The sourcing strategy related to this procurement is subject to the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT) and the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA).
