The Department of Fisheries and Oceans- Canadian Coast Guard as a requirement to supply and deliver Lloyd’s Grade E steel plates in accordance with Annex A, Statement of Requirements and delivered to Sidney, British Columbia on or before January 31, 2017. 

STATEMENT OF REQUIREMENTS FOR: Grade -E HULL PLATE
SCOPE:
Provide plate to replace hull steel in the Canadian Coast Guard Ship John P. Tully. The vessel is Lloyds Ice class 1* and the plate is to be Lloyds Grade E.

The supplier must provide manufactured plates meeting all standards for Grade E plates as detailed in Lloyds Register, RULES FOR THE MANUFACTURE, TESTING AND CERTIFICATION OF MATERIALS, July 2016. The plates are to meet the requirements stated in 3.1.3b and be delivered with Manufacturer’s Certificates verified by Lloyds Register no substitute. The certification requirements are in Chapter 1 section 3. The company supplying the steel must be on the list of Lloyd’s certified steel producers for Grade E plate.

All plates are to be stamped and numbered matching the material certificates.
